// Black Toe Bloodline Air Jordan 1 Conversion //
// The Bloodline Nike Air Jordan 1 was one of the hidden gems of Jordan Brand’s 2019 releases // After seeing many people convert their pairs into Chicago 1s, I wanted to see what I could cook up // Thankfully I was given that opportunity when a client reached out and asked me to do just that // We talked a bit and I decided to turn his pair of Bloodlines into a pair of Black Toe Jordan 1s since he didn’t want to pay the outrageously high resell price for them //
// The conversion itself was pretty straightforward with the exception of the wings logo on the ankle of the shoe // I started by creating a mix of red to match the actual Black Toe 1s and then airbrushed the heel and quarter areas // Once that was done I removed the tape and started to paint the remaining red outlines on the upper black // It took a few layers to get a solid color, but that wasn’t too time consuming // Finally, I finished them off by painting the wings logo which was tedious, but validating to complete // I’ve been customizing for eight years and somehow have avoided ever painting a wings logo so it was nice to try something new //
// I finished this pair fairly quickly, but it was nice to briefly revisit my roots by doing a basic color change // I’m kind of interested in attempting to do a Bred Jordan 1 conversion in the future as well // A few months from now Nike is releasing the Bloodline 2.0s so I’m curious to see what customization opportunities those will bring! //
